The vineyard

This Guyot-trained vineyard was planted in 2005 with Corvina, Rondinella and Oseleta at a density of about 5,000 vines per hectare. The texture of the soil is clayey/silty, it is poor in organic substance and has a good limestone content with considerable active limestone. At harvest time the vines, Corvina in particular, have a very good sugar and phenolic profile.
