Redevelopment

This vineyard is part of a project to re-develop a former industrial mining area in the Valpolicella Classica area, an issue very dear to the Allegrini family. As Francesco Allegrini often says: “We are primarily responsible for the beauty of our lands”.

The selection of grapes

The parcel is located between the municipalities of Fumane and Marano, within Valpolicella’s Nature Reserve (Parco Naturalistico della Valpolicella) and is a basin that overlooks the Lessini mountains and the Valle dei Progni.

Most of the grapes at Marezzane are harvested in crates, that is, they make up the selection of the best grapes intended for appassimento and Amarone.
