New governance for Allegrini

ALLEGRINI’S HEIRS, FRANCESCO, GIOVANNI AND MATTEO, TO THE HELM OF THE HISTORIC ALLEGRINI AND CORTE GIARA COMPANIES IN VALPOLICELLA HAS BEEN CONCLUDED;
MARILISA ALLEGRINI AND HER DAUGHTERS CARLOTTA AND CATERINA REMAIN AT THE HELM OF THE TUSCAN COMPANIES OF POGGIO AL TESORO, SAN POLO AND VILLA DELLA TORRE.

Fumane (VR) – December 14th 2023. The Allegrini family has signed an initial agreement that will ultimately lead to the division of key assets, the first step in a major move to restructure the ownership and management of the company with the aim of continuing to develop its entrepreneurial activities in the wine sector.

Francesco, Giovanni and Matteo Allegrini, heirs of Franco Allegrini, will acquire the majority shareholding Allegrini and Corte Giara companies, based in Verona and rooted in Valpolicella. They will manage these companies together with Silvia, heir to Walter Allegrini. Meanwhile, “Cav. Lav.” Marilisa Allegrini Carlotta and Caterina will retain ownership of the Tuscan wineries, Poggio Al Tesoro in Bolgheri and San Polo in Montalcino, as well as Villa Della Torre in Fumane, Valpolicella.

Francesco and his siblings received legal advice by Prof. Riccardo Borsari, Dr. Alberto Fioritti from Studio Serantoni for the financial aspects and Dr. Tommaso Zanini acted as financial advisor. Marilisa and her daughters were assisted by lawyers Giovanni Maccagnani and Luca Toninelli for the legal aspects, Dr Andrea Rossi from SLT Studio for the financial and valuation aspects and Dr Paolo Giovannini for the tax aspects.

The notarial deeds will be deed by the notary Cristiano Casalini of Studio CCI.
