La Grola is the proof of how Valpolicella’s most suitable soils and quality viticulture can produce great red wines, even without the aid of traditional techniques such as appassimento and ripasso. The singular, inimitable pedoclimatic conditions on La Grola vineyard and the meticulous cultivation of the grapes give rise to an intense, elegant wine with a distinctive personality, particularly appreciated for the finesse of its aromas.

Tasting notes

This wine simultaneously expresses a solid character, thanks to its tannic structure,
balanced by refreshing acidity and ripe fruit. Its complex bouquet of blackberries,
cherries, and violets is followed by notes of vanilla, tobacco, and dark chocolate. The
tannins are present yet mature, creating a velvety sip with a long finish of red and black
fruits.

The renewed iconography

An ancient story is redesigned to live in the contemporary world

The result of collaboration with the Hangar Design Group agency, the label redesign gives voice to the wine’s identity. The outlined slope of a hill merges with the black feathers of a raven and the magic of its flight, represented with a modern and almost ethereal sign, a symbol of mystery and at the same time of innovation. This light and novel artistic interpretation breaks away from traditional visual representations of wine, inviting reflection on the transformative nature of time and the work of man.
