Fumane (VR), April 3rd, 2024 – Vinitaly will herald the official debut of Allegrini Wines, the newly
formed structure that incorporates all of the Allegrini family’s businesses within the wine sector.
Following the recent corporate reassessment, which culminated in the acquisition of the majority of
the shares by Franco’s sons Francesco, Matteo and Giovanni, who, together with their cousin Silvia,
Walter’s daughter, currently control the company, the newly launched “brand architecture” will now
be presented at the renowned trade fair.

The aim of the new management is to prioritize wine and any projects aimed at its valorization, while
enhancing the roles, expertise and the scope of action within the corporate structure. The birth of
Allegrini Wines comes along with a brand-new logo, which bears the neatly stylized initials of the
company name.

“Together with the integrated communications agency Hangar Design Group, we have successfully
completed our rebranding, which formally seals the beginning of the company’s new approach. We
intend to keep Allegrini at the very core of the entire business, which is why this name stays pivotal
despite being articulated into multiple “units” that relate to the different souls and nuances of our
activities”, states the CEO, Francesco Allegrini.

First and foremost, in the scope of the new organization there is Allegrini, the historic brand that has
always represented Valpolicella’s “signature wines” (and Lugana wines for some years now too)
worldwide. Allegrini Wine Distribution, on the other hand, is the distribution company that was created
as a result of the wish to complement the line of wines with a variety of similar products in terms of
philosophy and compliance to tradition, starting with Corte Giara, the line created in 1989 by the
Allegrini family and dedicated to wines with an excellent price-quality ratio based on extensive
research dedicated to raw materials and focused on how global consumption is evolving. Rounding
out Allegrini Wine Distribution’s portfolio are also the following recent additions: Agricola Lanciani, a
Marche-based, fully organic company that aims to enhance the valorisation of two of the region’s
legendary grape varietals, namely Pecorino and Montepulciano; Domaine du Couvent, a small
Bourgogne-based family-owned company, specifically from Gevrey-Chambertin; and Jacques Picard,
by the homonymous artisan “vigneron” from Champagne. The foreign labels that have previously
been distributed in Italy include Olivier Leflaive, Thibault Liger-Belair, Domaine Henri Rebourseau-
one of the most important references on the Burgundian Côte de Nuits for the production of great
wines-and, directly from Champagne, the renowned Valentin Leflaive.

Finally, under the scope of Allegrini Wines, completing the Veronese winery’s innovation plan, is
Tenuta Merigo, the new production facility that will see the light in the upcoming years in Fumane, in
memory of the Allegrini cousins’ paternal grandmother, bordering the current company headquarters.
Tenuta Merigo is expected to become Allegrini’s dedicated venue for wine-tourism hospitality and the
promotion of the Valpolicella region, a primary goal set by the new management.
