Allegrini at Vinitaly 2023

Allegrini will be at the 55th edition of Vinitaly, to be held from 2nd to 5th April at the fair site, Veronafiere. The Group is ready to welcome visitors in its historic space located at stand E5 in Hall 6. This year there will also be an adjacent lounge for meetings with the press.

Coming back to Vinitaly is always a bit like coming home for us. And even more now, thinking back to everything that has happened in the past few years, our desire to meet up is deeply felt, as is the desire to keep on telling the whole world the extraordinary story of Italian wine. While remaining faithful to its strong and unique identity, this story evolves, innovates and continues to excite us, making the Made in Italy ‘brand’ a cultural treasure chest that is sought and appreciated worldwide. We can only wish everyone a truly thrilling Vinitaly, for the palate and for the heart”, said the President Marilisa Allegrini, Hon. Order of Merit for Labor.

Visitors will have the opportunity, at the stand and via prior appointment, to taste the new vintages of all the companies in the group: AllegriniCorte GiaraPoggio al Tesoro (Bolgheri) and San Polo (Montalcino), in addition to the wines of the French companies that Allegrini distributes on the Italian market. A freely accessible wine bar will, instead, be available for sommeliers and wine lovers.

Verona’s wine week will kick off today, Friday 31st March with Vinitaly and The City, the first masterclass after the inauguration. This invitation-only tasting will be held by Marilisa Allegrini in the city center at Loggia di Frà Giocondo in the Sala Consiliare (Council Chamber).

In addition, as every year, Allegrini will also be at OperaWine, which brings together the 130 best Italian wines according to Wine Spectator. The wine showcased on Saturday 1st April will be La Poja 2015.From Sunday to Tuesday, in the beautiful setting of Villa Della Torre, Gala dinners will be held, reserved for the press, importers, institutional representatives and customers. Renewing the great attention that Allegrini has always paid to up-coming generations, the menu of the Gala dinners will be curated by the talented and promising Chef Guido Paternollo, who has managed the Pellico 3 restaurant at the Park Hyatt Milan since 2022. His story has become iconic: previously an engineer, he went on to embrace his passion for cooking, a skill he learned while working for a long period alongside the Michelin-starred chef Enrico Bartolini and then in France with stellar chefs of the caliber of Alain Ducasse and Yannick Alleno. Monday evening has been organized jointly with Italian Signature Wines Academy (ISWA), an acronym that brings together nine companies, influential producers from the most important appellations who are committed to enhancing and promoting our Made in Italy excellence in winemaking and hospitality.
