SAN POLO WINS WINE SPECTATOR ACCLAIM
FOR ITS COLLECTION OF BRUNELLO WINES

San Polo has garnered over 90 points from Wine Spectator for its Brunello di Montalcino. The US magazine awarded 95 points to Podernovi 2016, 93 points to the Riserva 2015, and 93 points to Brunello 2016.
Here are the complete reviews:
Podernovi 2016: “A mix of wild herb, Tuscan scrub, rose, cherry and earth flavors mark this sleek red, which tiptoes between elegance and power, with a layer of chalky tannins underlying it all. With air, the ripe cherry and plum fruit comes forward.” - Bruce Sanderson
Riserva 2015: “A mix of cherry, plum, leather, rosemary, iron and tobacco flavors ply the sleek profile of this balanced red, which has good grip and a lingering savory aftertaste.”- Bruce Sanderson
Brunello 2016: “Starting out with earthy, savory aromas, this red shows fleeting flavors of black currant and raspberry before settling back into notes of earth, iron and juniper. Firm, dusty tannins guard the finish.” - Bruce Sanderson
