celebrates its 10th ANNIVERSARY

After the Christmas break, Villa Della Torre Allegrini, the Renaissance masterpiece designed by Giulio Romano and Michele Sanmicheli, reopens on 4th February. It is now ten years since Marilisa Allegrini chose the historic residence in Fumane as the prestigious venue for events as well as an ideal place to stay and a benchmark for food and wine. Maintenance work on the site, on the Bucintoro and now also on the 'Fumana', the hill overlooking the villa, has been undertaken, and continues to proceed, in full compliance with environmental, cultural and landscape restrictions, as required by the listed nature of the important monument and of the surrounding environment. It is a commonly held belief, both in Italy and internationally, that the project to renovate and enhance Villa Della Torre, which started with great forward-sightedness some ten years ago, has contributed to making the Valpolicella Classica a fascinating destination, and not only in connection with the world of wine and the network of intercultural exchanges and relationships that gravitate and develop around it. Of this we are extremely proud.
