98 points for Il Seggio
amongst best in show medals
at decanter world wine awards

The most recent wine produced by Poggio al Tesoro has already garnered an exceptional rating.
Il Seggio, the Bolgheri D.O.C. made by the Allegrini family winery, has been awarded 98 points for vintage 2014, its first year on the market, by the British magazine Decanter, which has placed it among the Best in Show Medals at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
Below is the complete review:
Deep black-red in colour, with earthy, complex aromas in which notes of copse and warm stone mingle with fine leather and sun-warmed plums: classy and refined. It's deep, dark, vivid and long on the palate, with supple yet ample tannins; the bright fruits shade into laurel and thyme, and that warm-stone finesse is there on the finish. Beautifully crafted Bolgheri. 2018-2030.
