Allegrini wines to toast
historical regatta in Venice
at Guggenheim museum

The traditional Venetian historical regatta is one of the most important attractions in Venice: a magnificent water pageant along the Grand Canal and an annual 'Voga alla Veneta' rowing competition, a unique discipline that has been held in the Venetian lagoon for thousands of years. This unforgettable event, attracting thousands of visitors every year, is also a special occasion for the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, which opens the doors of its terrace on Palazzo Venier dei Leoni to its friends and supporters The tradition will also be repeated next Sunday, September 3rd, for the 2017 edition of the historic race. On the terrace of the Guggenheim, overlooking the Grand Canal, guests will attend a lunch and taste the wines of Allegrini and Poggio al Tesoro (the Allegrini Family's estate in Bolgheri). This year's menu includes Soave, Mediterra and Recioto Giovanni Allegrini.
