The Vuilleumier and Allegrini families
together against the breath-taking
backdrop of the Amalfi coast

Vuilleumier and Allegrini, two leading families in the hotelier and wine businesses - both ambassadors of the excellence of 'Made-in-Italy' products and services - have met against the magical backdrop of the Amalfi coast, in the unique setting of the 'Terrazzo dell'lnfinito' (the Terrace of Infinity), at Villa Cimbrone (Ravello, Italy).
The idea stemmed from the wish to celebrate the Front Cover that Wine Spectator, the most prestigious and influential wine magazine, dedicated to Marilisa Allegrini this April. The dinner, held last night by the 'Flauto di Pan' restaurant, was accompanied by the wines of Allegrini, Poggio al Tesoro and San Polo, together in this exclusive scenario for the first time. Gore Vidal defined the setting as: "the most beautiful place I've seen in the world is the panorama from the Belvedere of Villa Cimbrone, in a bright winter day, when the sky and sea are so vividly blue that you cannot distinguish one from the other".
