Allegrini’s first Boot Camp
at Villa della Torre

Allegrini will be holding its first ever Boot Camp at Villa Della Torre. This new experience, championed by Marilisa Allegrini, will be aimed at talented under 30-year-olds in the food and wine sector. From 16th to 19th September, the Renaissance Villa in Fumane, Valpolicella, will run workshops, wine lessons, practical lessons in harvesting, and wine tastings. Taking part will be over thirty young people from all over Europe (including from Russia and the United States), who already work in the world of wine and haute cuisine or who are studying to enter the sector in next few years.
The Villa’s garden will be transformed into a large open-air ‘workshop’ where all the activities will be carried out, including dinners and networking activities.
Among the speakers are Riccardo Donadon, founder of H-Farm, whose is scheduled for Tuesday, September 18th, Aldo Fiordelli, a journalist at Decanter, Stevie Kim, creator of Wine2Digital, Martino Crespi, event manager at Jeunes Restaurateurs and, of course, the hostess herself, Marilisa Allegrini.
The tastings will be led by Walter Meccia, sommelier at the Four Seasons in Florence, and Gennaro Buono, head sommelier of the Capri Palace Group. The initiatives being planned include a guided tour of Verona and a contest on wine communication.
